CHD Vann is a premium housing project located on Sohna Road, Gurugram spread over 10 acres, with a forest cover of 5 acres. Vann is designed to provide a seemingly incredible experience of forest living right in the heart of thriving city.

The site being linear and narrow both, supported the placement of blocks with vehicular movement on one side and forest cover with community greens on the other side.The journey begins from under the unique and iconic structure designed as a connecting pedestrian bridge. The mile long knowledge trail within the peripheral forest cover of the site elevates the pedestrians on the bridge making the landscape accessible to all residents.

The parking has been accommodated in the basement as well as some open surface parking on the periphery with green pavers. The main communal and recreational facilities are located on the roof of the basement connected with pathways. The network of pathways with its free geometry, adapts to reinforce the image of tree branches. They vary in width becoming wider near the entrance and nodal points created as a pause area.

There is a sustainable thinking in the design process reflected in the use of local materials creating a porous and low maintenance layer, native vegetation to reinforce the character of local, rainwater harvesting and efficient water management strategies.
